In their North Haven High School classes, students experience a variety of grade-level appropriate texts, including novels, poetry, short stories, essays, articles, textbooks, and plays. These texts may span a range of time from the classical period to the modern era. They also will span a range of topics and perspectives designed to foster learning aligned with the curriculum.


If a student or parent has a concern about any text, they should contact the course teacher and/or the department coordinator. If the concern is not resolved, the parent has the right to request an alternative text provided by the course teacher.
